Принимаются заказы на куличи и сырные пасхи
By popular request, the Sisterhood of Brunswick Church is taking orders for Easter kulichi and paskha.
Paskha is made out of quark cheese and is sweet. It is in the shape of a flat-top pyramid and stands alongside a kulich (a domed cylinder of rich sweet bread with dried fruit) on the Easter table.
These are delicious and may be kept in the freezer until Sat 19 April when they can be decorated with icing sugar etc and brought to Church for blessing in the community hall, before the midnight Easter church service.
They are served for dessert as part of the Easter Feast, breaking the Great Fast, when families come home from the midnight Church service.
